I only buy fashion mags if there is an inspirational editorial shoot inside. Every season one of Bruce Weber's pops up, and this time it's in Paris Vogue, June / July.
I love the feeling his photography gives me - film-like imagery, capturing simple moments in time. This one reads as a family photo album, and makes me dream of the Bahamas......

Indian Summer

I love that when it's winter in Australia, it's summer in the northern hemisphere. If not only because of the sublime editorials that come in the latest magazine editions of the north - like "Indian Summer" with model Daria Werbowy. Steamy, sensual and majestically "SUMMER".

The September Issue

I was one of the lucky few to view this at the Sydney Film Festival last week. Coming from Sundance, it's behind-the-scenes look at US Vogue was both de-mystifying and inspiring. It made fashion seem a little more human, but made me all the more excited for it. Hopefully coming to an indie cinema near you soon, if you're a fashion-lover - CHECK IT OUT!
